A survay of the forrest of Roch alias Neroche, 1628?.

Manuscript on paper, in a secretary hand, listing owners of forest land in the forest of Neroche, with the number and acreage of "parcells" of land owned by each. The prefatory note explains that the survey is keyed by marginal letter to a "plott" of Neroche (not present). In addition to the King, the largest owners listed are the Earl of Hertford, the Earl of Bath, Sir Edward Coke, the Dean of Wells, Sir Robert Phelips, Sir George Speake, and "Mr. Ashford." The survey may be connected to the contemporary deforestation of Neroche.
